        Fenugreek plant is known by its scientific name Trigonella foenum-graecum L. is an annual herb with tender green leaves and cuboid, amber-yellow seeds or fruits. It belongs to the Fabaceae family and popularly also called “methi”. The early human population has identified the nutrient values of fenugreek as a perennial plant having multiple usages.
